If you haven’t already heard the wonderful news (and I would be shocked after the amazing response we’ve had if you hadn’t), we have opened up a lovely little space for you to come and visit us in person!

After what seems like hundreds of requests for a retail space to browse, to touch and feel and see our beautiful pieces in person we’ve finally found the perfect space for a pop up shop and it’s gorgeous.

We are set up in a heritage style shop in the main street of historic Millthorpe, across the road from the most delicious cakes, just a few doors up from the tastiest home made pizzas and pies and a few doors down from the yummiest all day brekkie and burgers, not to mention surrounded by beautiful boutique shops selling everything from gifts to fashion, homewares and art. How lucky are we??? (And also how fat & poor will we be at the end of all this?)

We will be staying in Millthorpe for 3 months up to the end of September to give all of our loyal customers the chance to come and see us and get your Christmas shopping done early as well as opening our doors to lots of new faces who may not have met us yet.

What’s New?

The new space means we are able to stock larger items and a bigger range than ever before. For the first time ever we have ride-on toys from a wooden ride on fire truck and traditional timber rocking horse to a vintage style tin racing car and the cutest little wheelybugs.
We also have books! Gorgeous children’s books that are loved by all ages – old classics that we grew up to and new favourites, truly something for everyone.

We have new brands including lovely things from europe, tin toys and music boxes, craft sets and outdoor play.
We’re very proud of the diverse range of beautifully handmade products we’ve curated from very talented artisans both close to home and across the countryside.
The collection includes: pram blankets and heirloom baby gifts by Sweetpeas & Moses and Elsie & I; dress ups by CurtiePie and KBS Designs; the most gorgeous handmade softies and dolls by Frazzy Dazzles and Crystal Rose Inspired; stunning handmade leather shoes by Huggabies; children’s rugs and decor items by Fabric Scissors Hook, Claire Gander, A Little Bit of Lemon, Elk Prints, Kitty K & The StyleNest; as well as a range of beautiful cards by Katrina Gabriel and Imaginart…..
We also still have our best selling Bibbity Bobbity Bibs & Aprons, made right here by us!

Finally (well not really, there’s lots more but I can’t tell you about everything!) our range of other toys has extended as well with larger items like a sturdy wooden washing machine and laundry set, retro style wooden kitchen, puppet theatre and teepees alongside hand felted puppets, lots more wooden toys and playsets.

Story Times, Activities & Things to Do
For the time we are at Millthorpe every Friday at 11am we will also hold a children’s activity session for children 2-5 years and on Sunday at 11am we will have our Story Time for children of all ages (bookings are preferred for Friday’s activities as they are getting very popular!).
Outside of these times we have a play area set up at the back of the store with the theme changing regularly, so there is always something new to see and do when little people visit and you don’t spend your time saying “don’t touch anything!” (we know how frustrating it must be in a place filled with toys where you aren’t allowed to play with any of them!).

So without further ado, here are some pictures of our lovely little store – we hope you enjoy them…. but trust us, it is all so much better in real life so make sure you come and say hi!!
